Urns and Flame Finials

March 25, 2015

As part of my secretary desk build, I needed to turn and carve the ornamental urns and finials that sit at the top of the upper case.  I haven’t done much spindle turning in the past, so the urns were good practice.  The flame finials were something I’ve never done either.  Once they were laid out, the process to carve them was very simple.
