Boxes by Rev. Marx
The sides are sapele. The tops and bottoms are maple. The corners are mitered with ebony splines. The top slides open like a pencil box, and has a laser engraved design. Both boxes were finished with shellac and paste wax.
There is a build article on my blog at https://mrxdesigns.blogspot.co
