This week I kept working on the backstory video and then spent a couple days finishing up the serving tray batching video.

Keepsake Box by Harry
This is a wedding gift for my sister and her fiancé. It is a keepsake box made from Hawaiian Mango and Monkey Pod wood. This will also serve as the wedding card box by removing the tray. It features a removable heart shaped puzzle piece that will be used as the wedding cake topper. The heart is held in the top by magnets. I started with a chunk off of a large slab and milled, sculpted and chiseled my way to this finished product. It was a very rewarding build with a lot of new techniques.
TV Stand Cabinet by Cam
I built this cabinet to be used as a TV stand. The body of the cabinet is made of 3/4 inch walnut plywood with a 1 3/4inch thick face frame and the doors are made of red oak. The highlight of the project for me was using wood bleach on the doors. The bleach gives them a nice clean and modern look and highlights the texture and rays in the oak. After bleaching, the doors were finished with Osmo white wax and the cabinet was finished with Osmo poly-x oil.
